Ready for Swisscom

You will play a key role in turning Swisscom into a smart data company through easy-to-use and valuable data products. You will be responsible for the product vision, planning and execution of data products belonging to the domains Customer, Product Offerings, Inventory and Customer Interactions (360 degrees) as well as use-case specific data pipelines built on Swisscom's One Data platform. As the PO of two agile data product teams (around nine Data Engineers and one Scrum Master), you will play a key role in their move to the cloud (AWS) and the leveling of their DataOps maturity.

  • Lead the development of data products that are crucial for various business units at Swisscom
  • Spearhead Swisscom's transition to a data mesh architecture by building our initial data products on AWS
  • Contribute to the implementation of important data mesh concepts, such as treating data as products, for the wider Swisscom organization

Your skills
  • Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS/HF) in computer science or similar or equivalent experience
  • Several years of experience as a Product Owner in data warehouse or lakehouse domain
  • Proficient in relational databases, preferably Teradata and AWS Cloud technologies such as S3, Iceberg and Redshift
  • Well-rounded product management skills including product discovery, backlog prioritization, product development, metrics and stakeholder management.

  • Collaborative and ability to lead without authority and to manage uncertainty
  • Good communication and storytelling skills
