In your role within the Telco Cloud DevOps Network Team, you will be responsible for the stable operation and further development of the Telco Cloud Gateways. You will ensure that new virtual network functions are successfully integrated into Swisscom's network landscape.

By consistently automating manual processes, you will help to minimise outages. You are proactive and constantly optimise to provide our cloud customers with the best possible infrastructure for their current and future cloud services. Through your work, you contribute every day to ensuring that our customers in Switzerland enjoy the best possible customer experience.

  • Development of Cisco NSO modules to enhance Telco Cloud Gateways
  • Driving the automation of connectivity to streamline processes

Your skills
  • Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS/HF) in Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent
  • Solid practical knowledge in areas such as Internet, TCP/IP, Routing, MPLS, SRv6 and Switching; certifications like CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE-SP, JNCIP-SP are advantageous
  • Experience in automating (deployment/testing) network functions
  • Proficiency in Python and Cisco NSO, tool knowledge (IPAM Netbox/QIP, GitLab, CICD, Netcool, Splunk); familiarity with Ansible, Linux and Openstack is beneficial
