Our dynamic team consists of 13 engineers. We build solutions for secure remote access to IP-based targets all over the world and operate these on a high level.
Through teamwork, sound technical skills and agility we offer our clients a clear added value. Thanks to our daily exchanges we ensure the whole product lifecycle and continuously evaluate and implement new ideas to delight our customers/stakeholders. We are a well-functioning team with helpful members.

Your focus lies on Unix-based network engineering with a high demand on stability and security. In the team, you are responsible for the connectivity between the Swisscom networks to allow stable function of existing services and development of new functionalities.

With extensive multiple years experience in linux and networking you confidently troubleshoot network-problems with the aid of standard Unix Tools. You like writing scripts in Bash and Python to automate your tasks.

Your professional profile
  • Proven network knowledge in routing, firewall, setting up and troubleshooting VPN/IPSec/OpenVPN, NAT, DNS, DHCP
  • Multiple years experience in Linux (Redhat, CentOS, Debian), FreeBSD and Scripting (Bash and Python)
  • Degree (university/college) in computer science, information systems or a related discipline
  • Know-how in network troubleshooting/analysis with standard Unix OS Tools
  • Knowledge of VMware (ESX, NSX, etc.) and pfSense
What else sets you apart
  • Fluent German and solid English oral and written
  • Team-oriented, communicative and ready to regularly be on-call/Pikett duty
  • Preference working with complex distributed system architectures
  • Experience with agile working methodologies
