Our dynamic team consists of ten engineers based in Bern and Zurich. We design, build, and operate the virtual and physical networks of the cloud infrastructure.
We work in an agile organization, valuing flexibility and teamwork. Communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning are essential for our success.

The cloud is one of the growth areas of Swisscom. We are part of the Cloud IaaS Release Train, which provides hardware and software infrastructure for various cloud products.

In a strategic initiative to migrate infrastructure to the cloud and transform the Swisscom IT landscape, the connectivity team is at the heart of this transformation.

As DevOps Engineer, you develop and operate the cloud networking services end-to-end. You have a broad range of skills from development to networking. What you bring:

Your professional profile
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Know-how in automation, monitoring and CI/CD tools
  • Expertise in at least one programming or scripting language such as Power Shell or Python
  • Experience in network engineering with know-how of EVPN, vxlan, and BGP
  • Degree (ETH/Uni/technical college) in computer science, telecommunications, or a related topic
  • Linux and system administration skills
