Fair pay

In your role of DevOps Engineer 5G in a full-time position (employment level of 100%), you will receive a gross salary of:

CHF 110 - 130K p.a.

Job location

In this 60-100% job you can work partly from home.

You do not travel regularly.

1/3The team

You are part of the newly formed mobile network management team, consisting of seven DevOps Engineers located in Switzerland. We design and implement our in-house orchestration framework and lead our automation activities. As a diverse team, our engineers come from all over Switzerland and from many different countries. We are self-motivated, professional, and know how to deliver.

2/3The project

We want to build the best 5G network in the world. To reduce the complexity of our network, we rely on effectively automating our network service management. We design and develop our in-house 5G network orchestration framework. You speed up the onboarding of a new network function or enable network slicing.

We make the mobile network automation capabilities ready for the new cloudified decade.

3/3Skill Check

With your software engineering skills, you contribute to our in-house 5G network management and orchestration solution. What you bring:

Your professional profile
  • Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including (but not limited to) C/C++, Java, Python, or Go
  • Experience with cloud-native software development methodologies and tools to support application development stages incl. CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Technical degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) such as computer science, telecommunication, or electrical engineering
  • Experienced at large-scale developing, scaling architecture with API management microservices frameworks, PaaS, container orchestration systems
  • Familiar with RedHat, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, DBMS, security basics, automation and frameworks like Camunda, Ansible, Temporal.io, OSGi
What else sets you apart
  • Agile and lean methodology (Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps mindset
  • Open-minded and innovative thinker, customer-oriented, self-starter, ready to set priorities and make decisions
  • Very good English, German and French a plus
