Ready for Swisscom

You contribute your experience to an international and geographically distributed team and interact daily with other Architects, DevOps engineers, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. In our agile setup, you enable our Cloud platform and our internal DevOps teams at Swisscom to successfully master their compliance processes and risk assessments, while contributing to a secure architecture and design with your technical security knowledge.

With your passion for Cloud Security and Cloud technologies, you will play a leading role in our team and take Swisscom to the next level. As "Shared Enabling and Platform Services", the shared service organization of Swisscom, we offer together with you AWS as a fully integrated and secure self-service platform to all Swisscom internal DevOps teams.

  • Take responsibility for the onboarding and security assessments of AWS workloads, features and services
  • Review the security posture of the Cloud Platform and ensure that it is properly hardened and secured
  • Identify, recognize and reduce vulnerabilities coming from Security Hub, GuardDuty and other monitoring services
  • Implement countermeasures for threats and vulnerabilities
  • Consult and support Team Members in the design and implementation of secure Cloud solutions

Your skills
  • You have experience designing and implementing secure cloud architectures
  • Practical experience in the analysis and conceptual, organizational and technical implementation of data protection and data management measures at application level and on Cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with various Security & Compliance relevant tools from AWS (eg. AWS Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Macie)
  • You are familiar with service onboarding processes and risk assessments and you have very good englisch language skills (written and spoken), German skills are an advantage
What makes you stand out
  • You can be a hands-on architect that is not afraid of doing DevOps or pentesting implementation work if required
  • Familiarity with the AWS Console and APIs, with a focus on automation
  • Experience in Cloud onboarding and migration processes
  • Certifications in the area of AWS an advantage (eg. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Security - Specialty)
