As part of a team of engineers, your role involves operating and developing Swisscom's private cloud network infrastructure. Specifically, you focus on the virtual network layers that allow customers to use networking functions as a service.

  • Design and operate the large-scale software-defined network for Swisscom's private cloud
  • Automation of network configurations and operational procedures
  • Familiarize yourself with new technologies and promptly integrate them into your work
  • Opportunity to work remotely and to access learning opportunities

Your skills
  • Understanding of IP network, routing protocols and firewall rules
  • Proficiency in both NSX-V and NSX-T is required
  • Competence in VMware vSphere and vCloud Director
  • Fundamental knowledge of DevOps tools such as GIT, Ansible, Python and CI/CD is required with a desire to develop skills in these areas
