Ready for Swisscom

You will contribute your experience to an international and geographically distributed team and interact daily with other architects, DevOps engineers, product owners and scrum masters. In our agile setup, you enable our internal DevOps teams at Swisscom to master their cloud transformations successfully.

With your passion for software engineering and cloud technologies, you will play a key role in our team and take Swisscom to the next level. As "Shared Enabling and Platform Services", we work with you to offer AWS as a fully integrated and secure self-service platform to all Swisscom internal DevOps teams.

  • Supporting the internal DevOps teams with on-boarding on AWS
  • Developing solution architectures with the teams
  • Establishing Swisscom-wide DevOps standards regarding tooling, solution approaches and practices in close collaboration with the teams
  • Driving cloud transformation by creating learning materials and conducting trainings and workshops

  • Several years of experience in cloud technologies and software engineering - some of them with AWS
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Java (Spring Boot), TypeScript, Python
  • DevOps tooling (CI/CD with Jenkins and Gitlab, source control, testing, monitoring, tracing, logging, alerting)
What makes you stand out
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to develop quick and solid solutions to complex problems and a passion for developing other teams (and yourself)
  • Hands-on experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
