IT Network Engineer

As an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for network support (level 2 & 3) and network infrastructure projects for an international client. You will use your expertise to implement new standards and build new IT services. As the business evolves, the role will largely focus on the Cisco to Aruba migration (communication with sites and global 3rd party partners, technical challenges, planning proposals, change management). You will also act as an escalation point for issues with the client's internal and external suppliers. The profile required is a blend of project management and coordination, network technology skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Coordination of routine and project activities (including operations)
  • Responsible for all network service-related tasks (lifecycle monitoring, planning and replacement)
  • Taking charge of network infrastructure projects
  • Implementing new standards
  • Participating in on-call service and maintenance activities outside working hours and days

  • Degree (UAS) in telecommunications engineering or equivalent with good network and security skills (switching, routing, wifi, firewall and load balancer)
  • Several years of experience in managing complex networks (Cisco or HP Aruba) and Cisco certifications such as CCNA/CCNP
  • Good project management skills and a keen interest in coordinating and tracking activities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with good team spirit
