What you achieve

You oversee the operations and development of PWLAN as a B2B network service for our customers. Within and outside the team, you quickly find pragmatic and efficient solutions, know the application architecture, and recognise dependencies between applications and surrounding systems. In addition, you are responsible for the initial assessment of each project. In collaboration with the team's DevOps engineers, you deliver the solution design on time, estimate the costs, and prioritise the appropriate implementation. You are committed to the stability and performance of the services (fulfilment and assurance) by actively promoting and reporting on optimisation and development with your DevOps engineers. In doing so, you always keep an eye on the strategic development of the product and the employees towards SDN. You update business partners and management on the status of current projects.

Why you succeed

  • Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science or an equivalent degree
  • Familiar with agile working methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps
  • Very good knowledge of requirements engineering and solution design
  • Know-how in application architecture
  • Hands-on experience in networks and their integration and operation
  • Certificate in CCNA or similar is a plus
  • Committed, curious, open-minded, and decisive as well as enthusiastic and communicative
  • Solution-oriented, pragmatic and efficient, able to grasp complex intercorrelations
  • Very good French and English, German a plus
