What you achieve

You define the platform and services architecture so they are technically and economically sustainable. In addition, you are responsible for systems and data with a high-security classification. In an agile setup you are accountable for continued improvement of the service, and you define and implement changes ensuring stability and customer satisfaction. Taking on your operational duties, you are solve complex issues in a timely manner and provide feedback to customers and stakeholders. Plus, you create guidelines for upgrades and system patches. You also regularly test new releases and maintain the existing system documentation accordingly.

Why you succeed

  • Degree (Uni/UAS/technical college) in computer science or several years of experience with Unix/Linux
  • Experienced in distribution, automation, and configuration management in larger environments (> 400 servers and 500 devices in the network)
  • Know-how in security services in the regulatory environment, IT security, as well as architecture and network technologies
  • Good knowledge of script programming (Bash, Perl or Python)
  • Proficient handling of standard applications (e.g., Apache/Tomcat, MySQL, LDAP)
  • Knowledge of load balancers, proxies, and other access control devices.
  • Familiarity with digital signature, PKI, and HSM is a plus
  • Adaptive, responsible, and committed personality
  • Ready to provide regular on-call service for 3rd level support
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and good German
