What you achieve

Our mission is to bring real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance to our complex fulfillment and assurance processes. The generated insights are used to monitor the smooth delivery of new software releases and enable around-the-clock process execution within a large system landscape. You transform data into useful insights by developing a complex data correlation system, backed by a state-of-the-art big data technology stack.

Your challenge is to source, join and analyze data streams from dozens of systems in real time. Developing data handling applications based on Spring Boot, Kafka, Mongo, ZipKin and Elastic is your routine. You enhance the system by tapping into new data streams, wrangling data and creating robust, self-healing data pipelines. As a DevOps enthusiast, you deploy and run your dockerized microservices on our CloudFoundry PaaS – and you relentlessly strive to improve performance and availability.

Why you succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or PhD (ETH/Uni/UAS) in Computer Science or a related field
  • Track record of successfully building and maintaining modern, reactive Java/Spring applications
  • Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL (Mongo, Elastic) databases
  • Experience with big data technologies (Kafka, Hadoop), data wrangling and discovery, applied to large and diverse data sets, is a plus
  • Basic DevOps (CI/CD, Jenkins/Docker/Ansible) and Linux know-how
  • Enthusiastic and flexible self-starter
  • Very good English, German or French a plus

We intend to fill this position without involvement of external recruiting or placement companies.
