What you achieve

Swisscom's Robotics Center of Excellence ensures proper software assessment in relation to functional and technical requirements for our customers. Developing efficient, well-structured and maintainable processes is part of your daily life. You work with test teams to troubleshoot and debug, report on issues and risks, and perform unit testing to ensure the quality of coded components. To enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures, your ability to convert business logic and requirements to automations is an advantage. Recognizing RPA business opportunities and completing automation certification comes easy. You are hands-on as far as analysis, design and code migration are concerned. Designing, developing and deploying RPA code to QA, in particular within business processes is also part of your core work. There is a travel commitment between Zürich and Bern.

Why you succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or similar
  • Several years of experience with programming (preferably in Java, .NET (C#, VB, etc.), VBA, HTML, SQL)
  • Experience with automation technologies Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Ui Path, or similar
  • Strong programming skills, OOP basics and familiarity with a scripting language (VBS, JavaScript)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Access, Outlook, Excel), including macros creation
  • Ability to analyze, understand business problems and express them in UML or other modelling language
  • Strong communication skills, enthusiastic and motivated; fast learner and team player, used to working with SAFe and DevOps
  • Very good English, German a plus
