What you achieve

Swisscom IT Services Finance Custom Solutions AG offers specialised IT services for companies in Switzerland. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for the on-site operation and support of our customers' IT environment. They feel that they receive the best possible advice from you. You support the service desk by processing tickets, maintaining contact with end users and providing remote support for operational monitoring. In addition, you take care of incident and problem management across departments and help with customer projects. You provide input from operations, take care of organisational matters, and maintain contact with customers according to ITIL best practices. You also act as a central point of contact for problems, questions and escalations concerning services from other Swisscom units. As the link between Swisscom and the customer, you also provide support in individual areas depending on your expertise.

Why you succeed

  • Degree (FCC) in information technology or similar qualification
  • Track record as an Operational Engineer
  • Good knowledge of Linux engineering and scripting (Bash, Perl or Python)
  • Deep know-how and experience in Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, and Apache Kafka
  • Knowledge of platform and service monitoring, logging and reporting, automation with Ansible, and in ITIL Process
  • Practiced in handling standard applications (e.g. Apache/Tomcat, MySQL, LDAP) is a plus
  • Further education (UAS/technical college) or certification in Linux Red Hat is a plus
  • Willing to work on-call on a regular basis
  • Enthusiastic and proactive personality who enjoys learning and working in a team
  • Very good German and English
