What you achieve

In the context of Layer 3 networking and security engineering, you discuss requirements, provide advice, find solutions and implement them. In addition, you take care of the operation and lifecycle management of the components. To do this, you perform regular on-call service (7 x 24) in a team of around eight people. You choose your own topics and are highly committed to them. In interdisciplinary teams, you work according to DevOps and other agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

Why you succeed

  • Degree (Uni/UAS/FFC/technical college) in computer science
  • Experience in Linux system administration, cloud technologies and virtualized environments
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby and/or Perl as well as know-how of automation frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef
  • Layer 3 networking and network security skills with VMware NSX
  • Knowledge of vSphere Engineering, SAP, and .NET or Java development a plus
  • Strong interest in questions related to IT Security
  • Enthusiasm for Agile methodologies such as SAFe and Scrum
  • Self-directed team player 
  • Very good English, German a plus
