What you will do

Windows servers are your domain and with your experience in engineering and automating Windows platforms you are right up there. Because of your familiarity with this environment, you can always provide your team with new knowledge.

Your understanding of Windows platform automation, which includes several thousand servers and the corresponding tools (monitoring, backup, and inventory), is worth a mint in our team. With your help, we transform the complex requirements of our internal customers into user-friendly solutions. You know exactly how the implementation of LifeCycle projects, such as the introduction of new operating systems and products, works. Also, your participation in the proof of concept for new products or processes is encouraged.

Your background

  • Degree (University of Applied Sciences, College of Higher Education) in computer science, ideally in technology (Windows)
  • At least five years' experience in the engineering and operation of Windows platforms, and MCSA or MCSE certification for servers
  • Good knowledge of system configuration management, automation and script languages (e. g. PowerShell)
  • Experience with BMC (patrol, BladeLogic), Microsoft SCOM, WSUS, as well as Symantec (NetBackup), NetApp (Cleondris), TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting
  • Willingness to do standby duty
  • Fluent English and Intermediate German
