What you achieve

You provide operational support for the Cisco UC infrastructure and the migration to Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business. Initially dedicated to a renowned, international, and innovative customer from the insurance industry in the Zurich area, you develop their unified communications solution. Leveraging your strong networking knowledge and experience, you provide infrastructure support across multiple global data centers. Working in an agile setup in a small, powerful team, you are responsible for the overall solution. To do so, you work on site with the client, and you take on shift work or on-call responsibilities.

Why you succeed

  • Master's degree (ETH/Uni/technical college) in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
  • More than three years of experience in operating and troubleshooting unified communications systems
  • Experience in managing Cisco datacenters (UCS-C, UCS-B, Hyperflex) and the NetApp storage system as well as in integrating Cisco, Skype, and Polycom telephonic solutions
  • Very strong technical knowledge of Cisco and Microsoft's unified communications platforms
  • Understanding of AudioCodes Gateways/SBCs, VMware administration, Polycom infrastructure, and Kurmi provisioning
  • Familiar with Skype for Business voice troubleshooting, Audiocodes SBC, and gateways
  • Cisco CCNP and ITIL certifications are a plus
  • Experienced customer-oriented communicator, at ease working for large financial institutions, strong social skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
