What you will do

In our young, dynamic team, you analyze new or changed requirements for their feasibility. Moreover, you engage in various topics and actively create overall solutions. You take over design, implementation and operation of workflow engines, Web portals and databases and ensure the maintenance and operation of applications throughout their life cycle. In doing so, you continuously improve the general architecture, correct and analyze errors, and assure meaningful and up-to-date documentation. Monthly on-call duty 24/7 and 3rd level support are also part of your job.

Your background

  • Degree (Uni/UAS) in computer science
  • Good knowledge of popular programming and scripting languages (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell); experience in cloud and virtualization architectures and their components as well as practice in architecture patterns
  • Expertise in VMware technologies and the willingness to deepen this knowledge (vRealize Automation, vRealize Orcehstrator, vCloud Director)
  • Understanding of software development processes and their maintenance (such as continuous integration, test automation), as well as a basic perception of agile practices (Scrum, SAFe)
  • In-depth knowledge of current operating systems (Linux and Windows, including their default services)
  • Know-how of networks and databases such as MariaDB, practical experience is an advantage
  • Fast perception, very communicative, highly motivated, distinguished business and customer perspective
  • Analytical and coherent thinking
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German
